First, the three tiers of disclosure
Supplement labels in the United States are not one uniform thing. Under FDA labeling rules, an ingredient can appear on a Supplement Facts panel in one of three ways, and Transfer Factor Max uses all three. Sorting the roster into those tiers is the fastest way to understand what you're actually buying.
Disclosed exactly

Disclosed as a group total

This is the headline number and the reason the product is called Max. Transfer Factor Max is the 4Life formula that carries both animal-sourced and plant-sourced transfer factor in a single serving, and the split is published exactly.

Two honest notes on that table. First, the 600 mg Tri-Factor figure is a combined total for its three named fractions — UltraFactor XF, NanoFactor and OvoFactor are each identified on the label, but their individual weights are not broken out. Second, the 300 mg PhytoFactor is a genuinely distinct input, not a relabeled portion of the Tri-Factor: it is extracted from the seeds of Brassica napus, the rapeseed plant, and it is the newer of the two halves. The 843 mg Cordyvant™ Proprietary Polysaccharide Complex
Cordyvant is the supporting half of the formula — a polysaccharide and mushroom complex designed to work alongside the transfer factor fraction rather than duplicate it. Its total weight is disclosed. Its internal breakdown is not.

Seven named ingredients sharing 843 mg. That is a meaningful total — it is nearly as large as the transfer factor line — but it means no one outside 4Life can say how much IP-6 or how much maitake a serving delivers. If you want to compare Cordyvant against a clinical dose from a published trial, you can't do it arithmetically; the blend structure makes that comparison unavailable. The micronutrient cluster
Three micronutrients round out the panel. These are not the point of the product — Transfer Factor Max is not a multivitamin, and it is not formulated to replace one — but they are chosen deliberately, since all three have established roles in normal immune function.*

On zinc, the arithmetic is worth showing. The current FDA Daily Value for zinc in adults is 11 mg, so a 90% DV serving works out to roughly 9.9 mg — a real, meaningful amount that sits comfortably below the 40 mg tolerable upper intake level, which matters if you are already taking a separate zinc supplement. On Vitamin C and D3 we are deliberately not publishing milligram or microgram figures. We have not verified specific numbers against a current Supplement Facts panel, and a wrong number repeated confidently on an affiliate site is exactly the kind of thing that ends up in an AI summary and never gets corrected. What a full daily serving adds up to
Roughly 1.74 grams of disclosed active material per day, before the micronutrients, delivered across four vegetable capsules taken with 8 oz of water and food. That four-capsule structure is the single most commonly misread thing about this label. People see 900 mg, assume it's per capsule, and either underdose themselves by taking one or overestimate what a single capsule does. It's a serving figure. Where the doses are strong — and where the label goes quiet
An honest reading has to include both.
Strong: the transfer factor line. 900 mg is disclosed exactly, split exactly, and is the largest transfer factor load in the 4Life lineup — which is the substantive reason to choose Max over the classic Tri-Factor Formula rather than a marketing reason. Zinc at 90% DV is likewise a real, checkable number.
Quiet: Cordyvant. Seven ingredients under one 843 mg umbrella means the most you can say with confidence is that they are present in descending order by weight, with IP-6 listed first. That is normal industry practice and it is legal, but it is less information than a fully itemized panel would give you, and anyone telling you otherwise is guessing. Same caveat, smaller scale, for the three Tri-Factor fractions inside the 600 mg.
Also worth naming: the evidence behind the formula is a mix of tiers. The Yu 2024 paper is peer-reviewed and independent; the Gardner and Jensen 2026 documents are company-affiliated.
